Portland Artist Micah Krock
I create medium to large scale fine art paintings based on mainly city scenes in Portland, but other cities as well. I enjoy experimenting on finding the balance between abstract painting and realism, mixed with patterns and bright expressive strokes of color.
Living in Portland, I have found inspiration in the bridges and buildings of it's urban landscape. From Southeast bars, over the rain covered bridges, to the downtown lights reflecting in the wet streets, Portland is my home I'm always seeing again in a new way to paint. I like to let the structures dance.
New Fremont Bridge Painting
This one's another biggie... 5ft wide x 4ft high. The largest I like to paint. This expressive Fremont Bridge painting is now available for your modern home or loft if you want it to be... or please share if you like it.
Chicago Theater Painting Commission
This was a commission I did for a collector who lived in Chicago and had to move away. They wanted a piece of Chicago above their fireplace in their new city. Contact me for your commission today

Painting is a Process, a Journey
Each painting is showing up with an idea, but staying open to where the rollercoaster ride takes you. The finished piece tells the story of the journey, each with a life of their own.
